MySQL AB, developer of the world's most popular open source database, today announced the MySQL® reference manual has been translated into Portuguese.

The MySQL reference manual is designed for all MySQL users, including developers of large Web sites and other mission-critical systems, as well as those who are embedding the high-performance MySQL database engine into other products. The manual provides information on everything from installation and basic SELECT syntax, to ACID transaction support, row-level locking, replication of servers to security, performance and optimization issues. The reference guide is searchable and has a table of contents on each page for easy navigation.
